Liter - Mary Ruffner

Mrs. Mary LITER, relict of Henry Liter and one of the oldest settlers of the county died at the home of her son at Ridge Farm, Ill Monday night. Mrs Liter at the time of her death was visiting her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Will Liter. Her death was very sudden and unexpected and caused by apoplexy. The remains were brought to this city Wednesday morning and taken to the residence of Mrs. Mary Snyder on Wabash Avenue. The funeral was Wednesday afternoon at Christian Church. Interment in Odd Fellows cemetery.
